Enharmonic is our choir based in Chapel Row, near Reading which began in early 2010.
Run by Daniel and Sandra Nicholls we meet on a Wednesday evening and have a membership of around 50 (aged 14 – 80ish!). We have sung in many concerts both at home and abroad including the Holywell Music Room, Belgium and Mallorca and have been broadcast live by the BBC on the Royal Wedding Day!
Much of our music is composed by Daniel, including ‘A Song for Kate (and William)’ but of course we embrace all musical styles and are happy to sing Mozart or Queen as long as it is well written.
This term (Spring 2019) we are awaiting dates for concerts but hope to help Thatcham start their church appeal as well as concerts in Woolhampton and Midgham.
As always our performances are for charities and this year we will be supporting local churches as well as Thrive - a charity which uses gardening as social and therapeutic horticulture to help improve physical and psychological health.
In June we will have our tea and cake concert in the Black Barn.
If you have a charity that you believe we could support please let us know.
